FAQs

How are they made?

I spend a lot of time and love in the planning of my dolls, from choosing the skin colour, the embroidery on the face to the fabrics for the clothing.

The dolls bodies are made from 100% organic cotton and are stuffed with a certified soft fibre toy stuffing.  Their clothes are also made from 100% cotton, using the brands such as Dashwood Studios, Lewis and Irene, Higgs and Higgs and Robert Kaufman.

All the dolls are triple machine stitched along the seams to make sure they are durable and can withstand play time, with their faces hand embroidered each with either their open lashed eyes or sleepy eyes and their cute smiles.

All but the cuddle babies’ and mama and baby’s clothes are removable, as there are additional clothes available for the dolls. Ensuring endless play for your little one.

I use 100% cotton materials for my dolls that has been chemically, and flammability tested to the current toy safety regulations. When choosing the fabrics I love to use bright and colourful designs encouraging imaginative play through happy and playful fabrics. Their bodies are made using the Robert Kaufman Kona cotton solids.

The dolls are stuffed with a toy polyester fibre filling.

UKCA safety

All my dolls are designed and handmade by me and all are tested in accordance with the current EN71-3 Toy Safety Regulation and comply with the toy safety directive.

They are physically, chemically and flammability tested and carry the UKCA mark to ensure they are safe for your little ones. They contain no small parts and although their clothes can be removed (except the babies), these had been tested and also carry the UKCA safety mark and are made using only EN71-3 organic cottons. They are suitable from birth and would make the perfect first friend for your little ones.

How do I look after my doll?

All my dolls can be washed on a 30 cycle. If their clothes get creased on their adventures just give them a gentle press with a hot iron.
